We have been on a long vacation. The first in 25 years.
Anyway, one of my credit cards was compromised, and then was canceled. I didn't realize it but it was the one I used for Amazon purchases. The Amazon card that you can get 3% back on.
My Fire Stick was to be shipped early Dec, but the automatic payment couldn't be made so it was CANCELED!
It took days to be noticed, but my wife finally got the message from the credit card company and ordered a new card. I then contacted Amazon. I dealt with 3 "assistance folks" in at least 2 different countries, and then got someone who could help me.
She had me order the Fire Stick again with a new card, and then she changed the amount due on the invoice to be $19.
But Alas, Alas, Alack, she couldn't restore my original ship date so now my Fire Stick will be more than a month' late.
