That's completely my screw-up, on both counts. I found the thread via Google and didn't see it was for PW until after I'd posted, then I had Nintendo on the brain when I typed in DS. I did mean DX and yeah, I'm paying for 3G delivery.

**an edit to update: I did a factory reset and it did the trick as far as I can tell. I've only gotten all of my Amazon books and a few side-loaded books back on so far but they've all opened perfectly. Thanks for all the help, everyone!
