I read without cover. But to keep it in when not reading, I got myself a caseable cover (I paid 20€). I don't normally put those four corner rubber bands around it, so it can be easily put in and taken back out again.

For an always in cover, it's less than optimal: The rubber bands are in the display area; the top right band is in the way of the power button; it's hard/impossible to open the USB/SD-hatch. It doesn't have a sleep magnet.

The only nice thing about caseable is that you can print your own stuff on it, so I went with Tux on a random background...
