I am almost back to 60/40 (Kobo) due to the larger screen and waterproof.

One thing to note in that video is that they have stupid settings on the Kobo. And when they show off the settings options, they only make it more stupid. Don't set the Kobo to emulate the Kindle, set the Kobo for best reading.
Besides, to do a proper comparison, set the options properly and use the same eBooks for both devices.
