When I turn on my Nooks they either open up to the book I'm reading or Library View -- I almost
never see or go to the Home Screen. You can do that with the Nooks as their menu system doesn't depend on the Home Screen, unlike the Kindle.
(And, don't get me wrong, I like the way Kindles work also -- they're just different.)
