Seriously, I own two Kindles (with slightly different interfaces), two Nooks, a Sony T2 and a Kobo Glo. They all have different interfaces, none of them perfect, but I get along fine in all of them. In my opinion the Nook UI is good, not perfect, but good. The Kindle does have a better dictionary, however and like my Kindle Touch's Translate feature (available in all modern Kindles). And Amazon definitely has a better infrastructure. But if you're mostly just reading -- especially if you're mostly reading ePubs -- there's nothing wrong with the Nooks at all.
