I don't know why musicians destroy their instruments at times. Through the years, I've had a violin, guitars and keyboards (this was before I developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and I never treated any of my instruments that way. *shaking head*

New trivia (and not about sugar this time):

According to The Word Museum, an archaic definition of barnacle-goose is a bird that was believed to be generated out of wood, or rather a species of shell often found sticking to the bottoms of ships; it was also called a tree-goose.
