I prefer and use Alexa since it is a woman's voice and is more personalized. When addressed as Alexa, prior to a command or question, a subtle blue light illuminates as a thin ring around the top outline of the cylinder to indicate "she" is waiting for a command or question. A funny thing happened recently when a nearby TV was on during a Lexus commercial. A voice in the ad said something to the effect, "Give yourself a Lexus this Christmas....." and Alexa got excited and emitted her lighted blue ring in anticipation of responding. Too funny. 😁
I have even used the hands-free timer function when cooking. It's great!
