I have been enjoying a non-fiction, public domain, Two Years in the French West Indies by Lafcadio Hearn. He has dreamy powers of description and I have a greatx4 grandmother who was from Martinique, which Hearn beautifully describes, but it is pretty long and I got distracted.

I had a couple of eBooks I checked out from the library that expired before I looked at them and been meaning to read Wool, The Raven Boys, and Fives and Twenty-Fives among others. I'll try with The Raven Boys, I think.
I know what you mean; I have reader's block currently. I'm stalled in several books I've wanted to read for a while.

I've had an anthology of Hearn's Japanese work on my TBR for a while, but I think I need something very escapist right now.
