I'm finding it hard to settle into anything right now. I isn't the fault of any of the books I've tried but my state of mind and life, I think.

I have been enjoying a non-fiction, public domain, Two Years in the French West Indies by Lafcadio Hearn. He has dreamy powers of description and I have a greatx4 grandmother who was from Martinique, which Hearn beautifully describes, but it is pretty long and I got distracted.

I had a couple of eBooks I checked out from the library that expired before I looked at them and been meaning to read Wool, The Raven Boys, and Fives and Twenty-Fives among others. I'll try with The Raven Boys, I think.
