Tender is the Night

EbookClassics.org.uk have released their second F. Scott Fitzgerald novel: Tender is the Night, available free in .epub or .mobi formats.

From their mailing list announcement:

Quote:
F. SCOTT FITZGERALD (1896-1940) published Tender is the Night in 1934. It was his fourth novel, following nine years after The Great Gatsby, and at the time it was not a success. His friend Ernest Hemingway complained that the characters were “not people but damned marvellously faked case histories”. Fitzgerald himself considered re-working it, with the result that there are now two versions. The first, the one published in 1934, uses flashbacks; the second, based on notes left by the author when he died, is ordered chronologically. This ebook is the original 1934 edition, which, like Gatsby, has come to be regarded as an American classic.
