And why do they authorize such a large amount of sugar in our food? Who benefits--the consumers or businesses, the medical field and Big Pharma? Food for thought.

This will be the last time I'll post about sugar unless I give into temptation again... which might be happening sometime soon. My family's big... HUGE on Christmas sweets and goodies.


Aside from the increased bulge around the waistline, diets high in sugar are strongly linked to an increased risk for type 2 diabetes, elevated triglycerides, low HDL (good) cholesterol levels, and heart disease; sugar intake has also been linked to depression, migraines, poor eyesight, autoimmune diseases (such as arthritis, and multiple sclerosis), gout and osteoporosis.
