I agree, for the most part. If there was a 6" Android tablet with comparable specs, I would buy it. I don't think there is, hence the reason I have bought a handful of Fire HD 6 tablets.

There are some apps in the Amazon App store that only work on Fires, so that is one reason to have a Fire, if you have or want those apps.

In the 7" tablet realm, there is nothing the Fire can do that my Nexus 7 (2013) can't do better. Fire hardware is mostly great, and often a great price, if you can live with the limitations. Nexus 7 hardware is great, without those limitations.
