nonbreaking paragraphs in calibre

Calibre always keeps an image together and does not split it. If there is not room on Pg1, calibrel leaves room at the bottom of Pg1 and starts and finishes the image at the top of Pg2. I am using Libreoffice Writer ODT files for conversion with calibre to very good effect and Writer offers a 'Paragraph' feature check box 'Do not break paragraph'. There is also a variable Widow and Orphan control for paragraphs. However, I have not had success in keeping paragraphs from splitting horizontally when converting with calibre. I am especially interested in using this feature with small frames of text. Text frames presently break. I have had success in forcing a page break after a paragraph, but this is really not the same behavior as with images. Thank you for your help.
