@ryber: Yep, you have one of the latest 4GB PW2, on which *all* Kindlets are broken before FW 5.4.5.

EDIT: Wheee. Missed a new page. Yay me.

EDITē: FWIW, I have no idea of how the 'footnote bug' is supposed to present itself, but I'm currently reading stuff with a crapload of footnotes without issues on a PW2 on 5.4.5.1.
