Can't connect to iTunes

I know there is some older posts here about this, but my issue seems to be a different one.

In Calibre version 0.9.42 I connect to iTunes in the Connect/Share drop down, but when I try to "send to device" I get a message that says the iTunes Media folder is inaccessible.

I upgraded to Calibre version 2.12 and in the Connect/Share drop down "connect to iTunes" isn't even shown.

I've tried to connect to folder in both versions, but that doesn't work either.

Version 0.9.42 was working just fine up until a week or so ago. I may have upgraded iTunes since I last connected Calibre to iTunes.

Using Yosemite and iTunes 12.0.1.26
