In a way, you kind of are.
The main Amazon store will default its settings to whatever's closest to your actual location (and occasionally reset itself even if you've been lying about your address to them, leaving your freebie-getting abilities in limbo for your actual IP until you actually try to make a paid purchase at which point it'll ask you to confirm your address).
So different regions will sometimes see different freebies when browsing what they think is the US store (since there's no dedicated regional URL like there is for .CA et al.), and it may be worth it for Gentle Readers worldwide to see what they can pull up when they look at the following:
- Mills & Boon imprint (nothing for me in Canada)
- Mira imprint (4 titles for Canadians, only 3 of them actually at $0.00)
- Harlequin imprint (48 results for Canadians, again, some of them not actually at $0.00, and mostly samplers or 1st episodes in serials)
- HQN imprint (nothing for me in Canada, but UK people get a bunch of 1st episode French-language serial samplers)
- Gold Eagle imprint (nothing for me, but some action adventure thrillers for Japan & presumably elsewhere in Southeast Asia)
- Carina imprint (3 regular Carina Press freebies, of which only 1 of them is actually currently free in Canada, + 24 probably-glitch freebies from Carina UK which I posted in their dedicated thread here)
