Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/ePub) Strong Spirits [1920s Medium Cozy Mystery w/Romance]

Strong Spirits by Alice Duncan (SYKM) is the 1st in her Daisy Gumm Majesty series of 1920s-set cozy mystery novels with possibly strong romantic elements (apparently the author also writes dedicated romances), starring the eponymous spiritualist medium to the stars, free courtesy of publisher ePublishing Works! (exclamation mark theirs), who are e-printing it from its original 2003 Zebra edition.

This is B&N's Free Fridays selection of the week, and you can read author Duncan's own recommended reading pick in their dedicated blogpost here.

It's also been previously offered free in 2013, apparently having been mentioned as another feature author's own recommended reading pick back then, as well.

Currently free @ B&N (also in the UK), Amazon (available to Canadians and may drop later in the UK), Kobo & iTunes & Google Play (all available to Canadians).

If you happen to enjoy this and would like to read more, ePublishing Works! books are couponable @ Kobo (linkage to the series listing), and generally fairly low-priced to begin with.

Description
It's the 1920s and Daisy Gumm Majesty is doing her part to support her family as a medium by holding séances and interpreting tarot cards for the rich and famous.

When the wealthy Mrs. Kincaid comes to Daisy to help solve her husband's disappearance, Detective Sam Rotondo isn't far behind.

Sam isn't fooled by Daisy's choice of "vocation" and blackmails her into spying on the Kincaids.

Then Daisy reads Sam's cards... and the tables turn.
