I write as I do to avoid assuming any specific background.
So a lot of my answers are for both the current poster and for future readers who stumble on them, "out of context" as it where.

Our (contributing, not the just "fix my problem and leave" people) members cover a wide range of ages (from pre-teen to should have been dead already) and a wide range of education (from hobbyists to people with advanced degrees that teach the folks who will do this for a living).

There - one of the ugliest sentences I have written recently.

PS: Several of our most proficient pre-teens have recently discovered girls.
I expect they will be back when the novelty wears off.
