tosca30 - those are HTML5 tags, so they may be available EPUB3. As I understand it Sigil is actively being enhanced to be EPUB3 compliant.
To that end there's this plugin that you might want to consider ==>>
epub3 output plugin for Sigil. Its author Kevin H did initially label as 'experimental', the intent is to eventually fold it into the Sigil core product.
