Not being a nook user or purchaser I haven't been actively following that thread, so wasn't aware of the changes.

I think I remember that, and it was before the change. (Because I would've wondered why, based on the new rules.) In fact, your argumentation may very well have been what spurred the Admins to take another look at the rules.
