Just to confirm I'm SOL too... I had jailbreak version 1.8 (filename update_jailbreak_bridge_1.8.N_install.bin) and opened my Kindle Paperwhite 2 today to find it had applied an OTA update, 5.6.1.
Is there anything that can be done to get the screensaver cover hack back without having to downgrade?
