I do not read ebooks on my PC, although last night I did install the Kobo and NOOK apps onto my Surface Pro 3 as a test because I am considering getting a small 7" or 8" Windows tablet for my kids to read non-Amazon-approved books on. (Having recently discovered that NOOK and KOBO apps are not available in the Amazon AppStore.) I didn't actually read anything; I just opened up a couple of books to see what they looked like.
I didn't really read ebooks until I got my first eink ebook reader. I had tried reading on my Compaq Ipaq, but the screen was too small and I couldn't figure out how to get books for it. (I found ebook sites at that time to be difficult to navigate -- I suppose I just didn't want it enough.)
I originally thought my answer was going to be, "No, and I never did." However, I now recall that I used to read anime fanfiction on my PC -- I'd copy the text to a word document and read through it like a book, typing in a word for a bookmark when I had to stop and deleting the entire document when I was finished. I don't read fanfiction anymore; lately I just read purchased ebooks on my phone if I want to read something while waiting for some process to finish up.
