The only device my hubby has ever had new was his Paperwhite 1 as he drooled when mine turned up. He always gets my handoffs when I upgrade and we sell his equivalent. I have four covers for my Voyage so the one he liked the most I've not used, saving it for him. He has an iPad and a Kindle Paperwhite 2.
Of course that doesn't stop him grabbing my devices if they are closer than his
