Sorry, I was just following the instructions as written. And as written, they specified 'My Shelves.'
If you can use anything you want, including tags that were already there, it should have said so.
Too late for me, as I already spent a couple of hours copying tags for 600 books, but it could CERTAINLY save someone else the effort.
And why would you even WANT to set up a separate, custom column for it, since Calibre already HAS a 'tags' column by default?
Not that I don't appreciate the effort, but the instructions could be clearer on that point.
