But to call it the: K42 would have lead to lots of confusion, so KT2 (second KT rather than second K4 [which it is, the second K4, both technically and to Amazon Marketing]) is how we decide to nickname it.
I have both K4 and KT2 torn down, sitting side by side on the work table.
The KT2 has a much stiffer frame design - lots of reinforcing ribs on the e-ink frame.
Not that I would recommend sitting on it, even so.
Same smaller capacity battery in both (one is three lead, one is four lead) with no provisions to ever offer a 3G version.
