The Reader's MP3 player is primitive in the extreme - and also "dangerous" to use, in that it doesn't have a "stop" button, only a "pause". It's only to easy to inadvertently leave it playing without realising it, and drain your battery flat.

My advice would be to use a separate MP3 player - even the most primitive of them is 10x better at the job than the Reader is.
