I've been trying this method out, seems to be working pretty well. At first I was using long swipes but started experimenting with shorter swipes, just swiping a couple of centimeters or half an inch, still working. Only only one failed page turn but then the next swipe advanced it just a single page. Thanks very much for the tip.
