I read a lot of endnote-ridden non-fiction as well, and I don't really have an issue with the accuracy of my H2O. But perhaps I have smaller fingers than you do

. And I love the pop-up notes kepubs do; I missed those since my Cybook Gen3 gave up the ghost, and it's the main reason I use the Kobo Touch Extended Plugin. I can't really judge text selection; I don't do that.
I am with you on 2), though. If someone figures out a way to use my Chambers 10th I used on my Cybook and Kindle DXG on my H2O, I will be a very happy camper...
