I did an update on my newly acquired air2, and having just got to setting up with all passwords etc, it promptly forgot the lot and behaved as if it were a completely new ipad air2. And that was with an OTA update. I think I'm going to do a restore and let it use my ipad3 bckup, which I did not, on this time round.
