Caro William,
juntei meus conhecimentos de python e consegui uma solução parcial para o problema. Infelizmente o usuário terá que guardar sua senha em texto não encripitado em um arquivo de fácil acesso, portanto use por sua conta e risco.
Segue em anexo uma receita onde eu indico nas linhas 94 e 95 onde você deve colocar o login e a senha. Retire o texto comentado, isto é, depois do símbolo #, em seguida coloque o login entre aspas simples 'login'. Na linha subsequente faça o mesmo, da mesma forma.
Aparentemente é um bug no lado do Calibre ou da biblioteca python, não saberia dizer. Se alguém que domine melhor a linguagem vir esta discussão, por favor se manifeste.
