Glad you're still around - you are our only source of first-hand info about the E920 :-)
You could be right about "downgrade" as the E930 is slightly cheaper than the E920. It's for that reason, plus the frontlight and smaller size, that I am considering it.
My N800 has proven to be a solid, well-built device, with very stable software. However, the zoom function for pdf is very basic (no point-to-point, no crop margins). Is this the same on the E920?
