It seems the libimobiledevice library may detect idevices that are only connected by wifi and this confuses the IOSRA plugin, which expects that there is only one idevice connected (i.e., via usb). On my wifi network I have an old IPad 1 as well as the IPad mini 2 that I am trying to connect to via usb. If I power off my IPad 1, IOSRA connects fine to the IPad mini 2, but if the IPad 1 is powered up and on the wifi network, then IOSRA fails to initialise, because it detects the IPad 1, but fails to mount it as a usb device (it is not on usb, only wifi).
Waahoo!!! I powered down my iphone and FINALLY have been able to connect Marvin on my ipad mini to calibre on my laptop!! YAY!! Thanks so much ShellShock!!
