That means iPads purchased during the above sale don't qualify for holiday returns and only have a 14-day return window. If you plan to give this as a gift, be sure it'll be wanted. You will not be able to return it after Christmas.

Hmm, I'm reading this differently. The phrase "
the later of January 17, 2015, or 14 days from the purchase/order date" seems to me to say that if I buy an 'electronic or furniture product' like an iPad today, I can return it until 1/17/2015, since that's later than today + 14 days.
Am I reading this wrong?
