ok, well thanks for the quick reply. So if I can't get a non-touch e-reader with a light

2) is there another make of e-reader that does NOT have the screen sensitivity of the Kobo Glo? So that you can hold on the sides or the corners and not cause page turns, or worse?

The Kobo Glo touch screen is sensitive throughout it's whole surface, and the cover (book style) does not make it any easier to hold without accidentally brushing the touch screen. (And I have carpal tunnel, which does not help....)

On the Glo, no matter which setting I choose, the whole screen remains active. Are there any e-readers that have the option of shrinking the touch screen area to a smaller surface? So I can hold the corners, or top, or bottom?

TIA once again
