Hey thanks guys for the useful info - have now changed my name to 'scottish bookworm'. (Ta 'eschwarz')

Will definitely browse the pages mentioned by Mickey C - though getting ereader books via my public library is I think different from you as you are in the USA - here it is still in its infancy. - You can read a very limited number of authors though your local library but can't download them only read them via a web enabled device and specifically not e-readers!
