I have the same problem; did all the installations as instructed, have all the latest version of Marvin/Calibre/IOS (just still on Maverick though) and I still cannot get my Ipad Air 2 to be detected by Calibre. Seems I cannot get a solution either. Maybe when I upgrade my OS?
Pretty frustrating.....
