4Katz - actually I don't think that is strange at all.
I remember how great the PW2 was in its amazon case. I've moaned at amazon about this, if the device is so small that it becomes easy/desirable to carry it around, then, if you are going to bung it in a bag, a case is needed. That being so, the design of the case is as imp as the design of the device - I feel. Once you've decided you aren't going to read it 'naked' (is there no better way of saying that?!) then the whole 'case thing' gets really important.
Unless you go in the 'sleeve' direction. if I slept alone and didn't have to worry about the side flap of the cover screening my husband while he drops off, I'd go 'sleeve'.
