I still have a PW1 I occasionally use and wonder if this update will be available for it. I really like the improved XRay on the Fire HD6. I've accidentally realized plot spoilers using the previous version of XRay and find using the Notable Clips feature keeps me spoiler-free.
If this update doesn't come to the PW1, I can almost justify a PW2 purchase since I "saved" $$ after cancelling my Voyage Pre-order (I don't think hubby would understand my logic. LOL)
