I agree with you; their offerings are
straight text ports from Project Gutenberg and are no where near the standard "set" by you and others here. We have become "spoiled" in that we expect "finely-crafted" ebooks.
The navigation menu system at the website appears quite useful, though, and is "value-added" (
for ebook selection purposes) for those in search of ebooks to read/convert. Just that you would be then better off procuring a copy of that ebook here, if it exists or converting that ebook directy from it's PG source (especially if the .html version contains better formatting).
I mainly convert ebooks from .html and would rather opt for any .html version prepared by PG's Distributed Proofreaders! I've come to respect their efforts!
