I was think of waiting a bit to see if anyone does manage to jailbreak this firmware. If not, that means a lot of people refusing to update their firmware ever again, and I can't see our wonderful members allowing that to happen

The metadata plugboard was the easiest thing. I was playing around with emailing a book to the PW and it seems you can't email an .azw3 format, only .mobi. Yet you can drop an .azw3 book into the documents file and that will work. That just makes no sense to me.
If you have a book in your Calibre library in .epub and .mobi only, is there a way to tell Calibre to automatically convert to .azw3 format to send to the Kindle instead of just sending the .mobi format? Or do I have to first convert to .azw3 and then send it to the reader? From the few books I've been experimenting with converting and sending to the PW, the .azw3 format usually looks the best.
