When I got my Galaxy Note 8 they gave me a $25 gift card for Google Play. I had used it for some paid apps. I had some money left on it and wanted to use it up so I was going to buy a book but was a little bit short. I couldn't see an option to split the cost between the gift card and pay the rest with a credit card. Called Google and they said that was not an option. I asked if I could buy a gift card for the difference and she said no they only come in $10 increments but as a courtesy she would add $10 to my account.
