While the original King Arthur was probably fiction (or not called Arthur!), we might have had a real King Arthur if Prince Arthur, Prince of Wales, hadn't died of a mysterious illness in 1502.

A lot of things would have been very different if Arthur had lived. Hank the 8th, who had been schooled for the church wouldn't have become king, taken on the Catholic church and so on
