haven't read them), from the first category, "Military Memoir and Biographies" . . . . First, if you can stand something that is possibly a little bit macabre,
Shade it Black: Death and After in Iraq by Jessica Goodell and John Hearn ($1.99) might be a great read. It's about the process that the U.S. military followed in handling the remains (bodies) of American soldiers killed in Iraq, up to and including their arrival back to the States for burial or cremation.
The other title is
Mutiny! The True Events that Inspired the Hunt for Red October by Boris Gindin and David Hagberg ($2.99). It is about what the title and subtitle say. Author Gindin served on the Soviet frigate
Storozhevoy, the real Soviet ship involved in the incident that was the basis for the blockbuster movie
The Hunt for Red October.
