@Terisa de morgan - I echoed Jim's changes at the top and bottom of rebuild_menus in Reading List->action.py, into rebuild_menus in View Manager->action.py.

Sadly, it didn't work, in that I lost the drop down menu entirely My python skills are non-existent, so I may have screwed something up.

Meantime I'll stick with 2.9
