@rcentros, you bring up some good points, but I have to agree with aceflor. The definitions are kept simple and general enough to help someone read. If someone needs more details, he/she can just tap on the word to get a more specific definition, along with an example sentence.
As a side note, I actually think "robbers" is a difficult word for a language learner.
