I tried the factory reset and everything seemed to be working nice again. Put it away for the night, then tried to restart a few minutes ago and ...nothing. It clearly has power, but would not give me a library screen. I do think the wifi isn't working and that's what's messing it up. I did a reset, turned off the wifi. It is working fine now. I turned it off and on, still working fine.
So is this 'bricked'? Or just wifi not working? I don't mind leaving it off the wifi. I can sideload everything and I have multiple kindles so just need to change where automated delivery goes.
