I agree. The wake word needs to be distinctive.
Edited to add: I'm thinking that Amazon might program Echo to respond only when there is a period of silence before and after the wake word is spoken. If that's the case, a word used in conversation, like
Amazon, may work since it's
usually not uttered as a single-word expletive.
I dunno. I'd still choose
Alexa as my wake word.
