#1 After 2 bad models I decided to get off of the merry-go-round.
#2 IF I were intending to keep one of the bad models - unlikely - I wouldn't do that. It would be like putting my child in the freezer.
#3 I don't stick my electronics in my freezer, as a rule, on the request of web posters (no offense intended, just a personal stance).
#4 The one time I have put something electronic in my freezer it was a hard drive in order to hopefully allow it to boot again temporarily - a desperate attempt to recover data. Which, btw, worked short term.
#5 I have been known to wash keyboards in my dishwasher, no heat, no drying, no soap, after my son spilled an entire sugary coke on it. I then air dried it for several days and it worked fine until the day I replaced it at least a year later (and may still be working somewhere - it was donated).
