Ewwww....Turkey from Aldi's? It is ok if it is a brand name, like Butterball. I wouldn't buy meat there or at Walmart, unless it had a brand name that we know. (Not that we ever shop at Aldi's).
The Aldi's here is really gross. My MIL shops at hers all the time and ravs about. I don't get the fuss. We got a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market right across the street from our Aldi's that is much cheaper on prices, better quality and the meat there is decent. I have shopped at Supercenters alot and agree the meat there is always questionable and wouldn't touch it but the Neighbor Market here must be held to a higher standard as the meat is actually good quality.

As for the Ready Roast. Give it a shot! No mess or fuss and takes about 2 1/2 hours. Add a box of Stove Top stuffing (5 minutes to make) a jar of Heinz Turkey Gravy and Country Crock ready to serve Homestyle Mash potatoes (5 minutes in nuker) and your go to go. I also grab a bag of Steamfresh veggies for a side. That's been our thanksgiving for years now. Oh I forgot Pillsbury croissants sometimes. I do bake pies though but they are ready made pies like Sara Lee or Mrs Smith or if I am lucky and I can find Plush Pippins which are outstanding.

Oh and to bring some back to topic Scribd does have cookbooks for those who actually like to make stuff from scratch. They also have those diet books too for after the holidays and you need to lose those pounds you gained.
